Price the work from the project plans
Foundation estimates depend on the design, site conditions and access. Send your current plans, dimensions, project address and schedule. For structural work, the approved plans and applicable engineering requirements govern the slab, footing and reinforcement details.
Define the concrete scope early
Depending on the project, work can include excavation, grading, base preparation, forms, reinforcement, footings, stem walls, slab placement, finishing and cleanup. Vapor barriers, embedded items, anchors and other details are included only as specified in the agreed proposal and plans.
Coordinate before concrete arrives
Plumbing penetrations, underground work, post locations and embedded items need to be coordinated before placement. We review access and the concrete scope with the owner or builder so the pour fits the next phase of construction.
Keep preliminary and final pricing clear
If plans or site conditions are still being developed, let us know. Changes to footing dimensions, slab thickness, reinforcement, excavation or access can affect the final price. Your written proposal identifies the scope used for the estimate.
